Abstract

The calculation of Farmers Exchange Rate uses base year 2012 = 100 where in December 2019 the Farmers Exchange Rate of Food Plants (NTPP) was 122.01 percent; Horticultural Farmers Exchange Rate (NTPH) 82.20 percent; Exchange Rate of Farmers Plantation People (NTPR) 92.59 percent; Farmer Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) 136.25 percent and Fisheries Farmer Exchange Rate (NTNP) 108.89 percent. The Farmers' Fisheries Exchange Rate (NTNP) is broken down into NTP Capture Fisheries (NTN) recorded at 117.92 percent and Cultured Fisheries NTP (NTPi) is recorded at 94.29 percent. Combined, the Farmer Exchange Rate of the NTB Province was 115.27 percent, which means that the FTT in December 2019 had decreased (0.46) percent when compared to November 2019 with the Farmer Exchange Rate of 115.81 percent.

Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in December 2019 was 123.39 percent or decreased (0.06) percent compared to November 2019 which was 123.46 percent. Most of the NTUP is valued above 100 except for the horticulture subsector which is only 91.30 percent. NTUP other sub-sectors respectively as follows: Animal Husbandry 147.49 percent; Food Crops 126.91 percent; Fisheries 120.75 percent; and Community Plantation Plants 101.57 percent.

Of the 33 provinces reported in December 2019, there were 25 provinces that experienced an increase in FTT and 8 provinces experienced a decrease in FTT. The highest increase occurred in Riau Province, amounting to 2.65 percent, while the highest decrease in FTT occurred in West Papua Province which was (1.08) percent.

In December 2019, inflation occurred in rural areas in West Nusa Tenggara Province by 0.81 percent. Inflation is due to an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in almost all groups except the education, recreation and sports groups.
