The number of passengers arriving via sea transportation in January 2020 increased by 7.46 percent compared to December 2019. Likewise, the number of departing passengers rose by 9.87 percent.
The number of goods unloaded through seaports in January 2020 decreased by 8.38 percent compared to the previous month. Likewise, the number of goods loaded fell by 46.95 percent.
The number of passengers arriving via domestic flights in January 2020 was 133,560, a decrease of 12.15 percent compared to December 2019. Likewise, the number of passengers arriving via international flights dropped by 2.87 percent to as many as 11,132 people.
The number of passengers departing in January 2020 via domestic flights was 127,348, a decrease of 6.45 percent compared to December 2019. While the number of passengers departing via international flights rose by 19.78 percent from 9,173 people to 10,987 people.
The number of goods unloaded in January 2020 through domestic flights was 515,690 kg, down 4.16 percent compared to December 2019. There were no items unloaded at the international terminal in January 2020. Goods loaded at the terminal of DOSmetik in January 2020 fell by 8, 44 percent compared to the previous month. Likewise, goods loaded at international terminals decreased by 57.65 percent compared to December 2019.
