Implementation of the Micro-Small Industry Survey

The Small-Micro Industry Survey (IMK) is a survey that aims to get an overview of the conditions of small micro industries or households including employment, raw materials, income, other expenses, capital, and so on. This survey is routine and is held by BPS once a year throughout Indonesia.

In Sumbawa Barat district, the IMK survey was focused on census blocks with IMK household contents based on the results of the 2016 economic census. Data collection was spread across 4 sub-districts namely, Taliwang, Maluk, Jereweh, and Seteluk sub-districts. Most of the samples of IMK households are in Taliwang sub-district because they are the economic center of KSB. Implementation of the IMK Survey was preceded by household listings in July, and household IMK business data collection in August 2018.
